24/7 Emergency Care

Nobody ever wants to see an animal in distress. Unfortunately, unexpected illnesses and sudden accidents can occur at any time. The way you handle these types of situations can make all the difference in the world. At Willow Bend Animal Clinic, we want you to know that you’ve got a dedicated team in your corner. You can rest easy knowing that we’ll be there for you in your time of need.

Our hospital is equipped to provide life-saving critical care at a moment’s notice, any time – day or night. With staff members who are experienced in emergency medicine, we can quickly diagnose the problem and deliver the most timely and effective care. Most importantly, we will handle your companion’s case with the utmost compassion, doing everything within our power to achieve a positive outcome. Our urgent care services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Some of the signs that an animal may require urgent medical attention include:

  • Difficulty breathing
  • Ingestion of a foreign object or toxic substance
  • Broken bones
  • Cuts, lacerations or puncture wounds
  • Vomiting or diarrhea lasting longer than 24 hours
  • Bleeding
  • Trauma, such as a fall or being hit by a car
  • Swollen or tender abdomen
  • Difficulty urinating
  • Lameness
  • Disorientation
  • Foaming at the mouth
  • Convulsions/seizures
  • Loss of consciousness

If you notice your companion exhibiting any of these signs, it’s time to call for help right away. For emergencies after hours, please call 662-252-5454 to make sure a doctor is available.  As we are one of the few clinics in the area that see emergencies after hours, please call ahead to make sure we are not away from the clinic treating a prior case.  When calling 662-252-5454 you will be instructed how to contact the doctor on call.

We sincerely hope you never experience the need for urgent veterinary care. If you do, however, we want you to know who to call. The team at Willow Bend Animal Clinic will be here to provide the necessary services. You can count on us!
